Last Saturday, my friends and I were invited to a kiddie birthday party in Mcdonalds Greenbelt — which obviously deserves a separate entry cause it was SO.MUCH.FUN.

I haven’t had that much fun in months! Most of the time, I’d be at home constantly preoccupied with thoughts about ‘what ifs’ and life in general (I’m not kidding). I guess I’m experiencing a bit of a ‘quarter life crisis’ (?) People who cannot let go of their past and/or who are constantly worried about the future are surely missing out a lot on their present; which will eventually become a part of their past (duh) — it’s a viscous cycle, really. I guess what I’m trying to say is that we shouldn’t be too hard on ourselves and enjoy life a bit. I’m so thankful for my friends who drag me back to the present whenever I wander aimlessly in my own thoughts.

Anyway, enough of the contemplating. Here’s what I wore <3

image

image

Knitted ‘ENJOY' top from Stradivarius — See what I did there? hehe. Currently one of my favorite brands since it's a bit cheaper as compared to Zara, Bershka, Topshop, etc.

image

Cheated with nude/skin tone shoes — color continuity gives the illusion of elongated / longer legs. hehehe. #sorryimnotsorry

image

Tiny studded ballet flats pendant from my mom. And no, I don’t curl my hair everyday. I have natural waves — I wake up looking like Chewbacca because my hair refuses to obey the law of gravity :(

image

Origami shorts from Stradivarius. My favorite style~ I actually have 5 pairs of Origami shorts! eep.

image

Comfiest platforms ever! Wish I purchased it in black as well </3

Special thanks to Arvee for taking my photos.

Begin Again

36 notes Reblog Comments

Hello, hello! Long time no post. I’ve recently been contemplating whether or not I should continue blogging — hence, the long hiatus. Boo for you, I’ve decided to continue HA HA HA. You’ll be seeing more of my pint / fun sized self more often now.

image

So happy the weather is starting to cool down a bit. The summer heat is really killing me. I’m not fond of the rain but it’s better than a sauna!

image

McCafe Vanilla Iced Coffee <3

image

Hair color is Platinum Beige (LIESE brand) if anyone’s interested. It’s actually more of a light ash in real life.

image

image

image

Erland Oxfords from Le Bunny Bleu SS2014 Collection. Such a perfect pastel pink! Definitely my current favorite pair from Le Bunny Bleu.

Btw, They’re having a sale now so you might want to check it out! Also, if you buy 3 sale items, you can get a free bunny plushie!

image

So there, I’m still alive. A big thank you to everyone who still reads and supports my blog! :)

A huge thanks to my friends Riz Olea (my photographer/  hair stylist / partner in crime) and JB for pressuring me to post an update. HA HA.

LIVE WITHOUT REGRETS • METROBANK PREPAID CARD

28 notes Reblog Comments

Hi everyone, did you miss me? Sorry for being on hiatus for the longest time. Hope everyone’s doing great!

Anyway, I was one of the lucky ones to have been invited to the Metrocard Prepaid Card launch last month.

image

Totally digging their Press Kit with my name on it. I also love their tagline — Live Without Regrets — it should be my life mantra.

image

Since it’s a pre-paid card, you’re in control of how much you spend. I think this is perfect for people who like to keep track and stay on top of their finances. It’s also a great way to build good money habits as opposed to just swiping away and forgetting about your credit card cut off dates and credit limits, yikes!

image

Since it can conveniently be used both as a pre-paid (sort of like a debit card/ATM card) and a credit card (mastercard) at the same time, you don’t have to worry about bringing a lot of cash with you all the time. I’m really happy about being able to use it in restaurants since most of them don’t accept debit cards. Oh, and did i mention you can even use it abroad! Just make sure to load it up via Metrobank’s ATM, Online, or Phone Banking. You can even withdraw your cash anytime :)

image

With Tricia~ I swear we didn’t plan our matchy-matchy white outfits. The #Trissey connection cannot be explained.

image

image

So glad to have finally met Ira Giorgetti, Tracy Ayson, and David Guison.

image

The food served was glorious! Make sure to try out VYNE when you’re in the Fort area.

image

image

image

image

David and I wanted to take a shot with the ceiling…but failed. Hello silhouettes!

image

With Isabel Trinidad.

image

Hello, new blogger friends!

image

Obligatory #trissey mirror shot before leaving the event.

I am one of the many people who appreciate the convenience of online shopping so I naturally had to try online shopping for my first purchase using my Metrobank Prepaid Card.

image

Dress from Yesstyle.com ~ One of my favorite online stores since they have super fast shipping (door-to-door delivery).

image

Very smooth transaction. Hopefully, they’ll be able to partner up with Paypal in the near future. Suddenly, the possibilities of online shopping became endless *_* This is perfect for students who want to shop online but don’t really have access to credit cards (it’s for your own good!). At least by using this prepaid card, you can use your own savings to purchase stuff you want :) No need to rely on your parents! All you have to do is save up and load up! Since the card isn’t connected to any bank account, you don’t have to worry about wiping out your savings (just wiping out your allocated budget for the card, lol). 101% safe to use online!

Next purchase was in Le Bunny Bleu. Everything was on 50% off at that time — lucky me!

image

With Keita, my forever shopping buddy! hehehe.

image

Got two pairs both at 50% off! What an offer!

image

Very smooth and quick transaction. Exactly like a credit card but you have to input your PIN like when you purchase using a debit card.

Best part is that you can avail of the card sans the initial deposit most, if not all banks require. No need for a maintaining balance as well! :) It’s super easy! All you have to do is fill up the Metrobank Prepaid Card registration form, present 1 or 2 valid ID’s (Government ID if you’re no longer a student) and lastly, pay P100 for the card which is valid for 3 years. Easy peasy!

Let the shopping, commence!

Windy Day

29 notes Reblog Comments

Sweater weather has officially ended but someone’s obviously in denial. Good news is, I can take more ‘wind effect’ outdoor shots ala shampoo commercial, hurhur.

Tied my hair up in a bun today and it ended up looking all nice and wavy /Perks of the natural kulot.

Super cooperative wind begets a super happy smile.
OT: My front teeth are super big that I’m starting to think I’m secretly the Easter bunny :B

Current favorite black skirt from Persunmall.com ! I’m so excited to share photos of the other items I ordered, yay!

Zipper detail. You can purchase this Irregular Cutting Skirt with Zipper from Persunmall.com ~! Loving their collections so far :)

Scalloped ballet flats (Moxie) from The Carrier Pigeon ProjectThe wind betrayed me!

Anyway, my friends and I tried Tamarind (SM Aura) today.

Pad Thai was REALLY good.

and so was the beef curry.

Price range is from P 150-P300 per plate. Not too expensive if you’re planning to eat out with 3 or more people.

With Arvee, one of my first ever friend in Coca-Cola and Kirsten, my HS — College — work buddy <3

Teng (but he prefers Francis), college / Nintendo 3DS buddy!

THIS IS HOW YOU SHAKE A GONGCHA DRINK. OKAY.

With Arvee again! Love her so muuuuch!

Ending this entry with a very pretty Red Velvet cupcake from @sweet_treats_ph <3 Happy Valentines to all my lovely readers!

42 notes Reblog Comments

Third time in Taiwan and I still love this country to bits! (But still no Chinese speaking skills, hehe) I spent a few months in Taiwan last 2004 & 2009 for study tours so this country has a very special place in my heart.

image

Taoyuan Airport.

image

Christmas decorations were still everywhere since we visited December 26-30, 2013.

image

Ichigo overload c/o my dad’s acquaintance, Angel. Made me miss Tricia though :( Her family was supposed to be in Taiwan for vacation on the exact same date/s as we were. Too bad their flight was moved one week after ours.

image

First stop for the night, Jian Tan station. Right across it is the Shi Lin night market.

image

image

Food…food everywhere.

image

For those who are planning to visit Taiwan, you HAVE TO try the famous Chi Pai (Fried Chicken) — street food found in Shi Lin but also in other night markets. If you can tolerate the smell, you should also try stinky tofu — which I heard is super good (but smells like the sewer, eeek). I particularly love the cold almond tea drink and the caramel coated strawberries.

image

Winter clothes because of the cold front.

image

image

image

For the Chinese New Year :D

***

The following shots were all taken in Ximending Night Market.
* Ximending station by MRT image

Giant Jake.

image

Adventure time! Spot Finn :D

image

This doggy is in winter attire too.

image

I wanted to bring this cutie home :(

image

Thank goodness I brought an umbrella.

image

image

Can you spot the boobie slippers? HEHEHE.

image

Bought these Disney Princess socks. Easily my favorite purchase from this trip. Too bad they didn’t have the others :(

image

This magazine store sells Japanese magazines as well as eMooks. Super updated~ they even had VIVI February issue already!

image

Arashi restaurant (*cue in Arashi music) near the magazine store.

image

image

image

Really, really good ramen.

image

image

image

image

Anna Sui x Minnie Mouse collection <3 I’m getting better at taking ninja store display shots. hehe.

image

image

Wiring lvl : GOD SKILLS !

image

image

Taeyeon! My forever SNSD bias <3

image

With my cousins~! (they love to photobomb, rrr)

Last stop for the night : Shinjuku Plaza
They have Japanese and Korean brands but bring cash if you’re planning to drop by and shop since most stores do not accept credit card. You might also want to drop by earlier (Around 6pm since the shops close early — around 9pm)

image

I took so many photos I have to post 3 separate blog entries, mehehe. Part 2 coming up! :)

image

Kirin Disney milk tea (7-11) and Chachago (Ximending) to end this entry.

Hope you enjoyed my photos :D
