Maybelline Limited Edition Hello Kitty Volum’ Express Mascara | Review

13 notes Reblog Comments

I received this Limited Edition Mascara from a very good friend of mine for Christmas (late, I know right) ~ I’ve already seen this mascara on shelves a few years back but I wasn’t too keen on buying it (Yes, despite it being Hello Kitty) since I’ve already tried using the regular one (Maybelline Volum’ Express) — which coincidentally, was one of the first mascaras i’ve tried (along with Etude House -I forgot the name- Mascara)

Ever since I started using Majolica Majorca’s Mascara (I have 3 variations) ~ I never really bothered to try other products since I feel Majolica Majorca Mascaras are pretty much the best out there! — But SUCH A PAIN to remove. Seriously, I feel like all my lashes will fall out :))

Admittedly, I’ve always *secretly* wanted to have this so I thought I’d give it another try!

The comb applicator wand consists of 2 rows (parallel on each side) ~ The wand in itself is straight and the bristles (?) are too short so I always end up poking my eye ._.

Application is very tricky since the formula dries up really fast and gets clumpy after 1 coat. I get the ‘I have dried eyelash glue on my lashes’ look. It’s difficult to apply evenly as well — or maybe I’m just no good at this whole mascara thing. It’s volumizing but does not (very minimal) lengthening.

The mascara is waterproof so as expected, it is a bit hard to remove but nothing too tedious.

Oh Hello Kitty, I still love you no matter what! ♥♥♥
