Flower Power

25 notes Reblog Comments

It’s been raining really hard for the past few days. Thankfully, mister sun decided to show up today; so I decided to wear something colorful ! Yay for good vibes :D

White Short Sleeve Florals Print Dress from Sheinside.com

White Wedges from Golddot

Yellow Skirt from Bershka

Pink Clutch from Coach

Forgive my ‘sleepy face’. Woke up early so I can take advantage of the early morning lighting <3 I hate taking photos during lunchtime /squinty eyes.

I really, really need a haircut. Can anyone suggest a good salon in The Fort area? :o I haven’t been to a salon in more than 6-8 months! LOL — and I call myself a girl. Yup.

Definitely going to my ‘favorite colorful dresses collection’!

Everyone please say hi to Riz ! <3 She’s behind all these awesome photos! Thank you!

Colorful ‘Pop’ Stripes • Nail Art Tutorial

91 notes Reblog Comments

Admit it, you miss my nail art tutorials. HA HA HA. Kidding :)

Anyway, this is super easy!

You will need the following :

• Nail Polish (3-5 colors)

• Scotch tape although I prefer to use Washi tapes since they don’t adhere as much.

• Scissors / Cutter

image

***

Step 1:

Make sure to do this BEFORE painting you nails.

Cut thin strips of your tape ~ (quantity depends on how many stripes you want)

image

I used a striped washi tape to make my life easier *wink*

Tip: You can make some strips thinner / thicker ! (Mix thin and thick strips for a more fun look)

***

Step 2:

Pick 3-4 colors ~ Paint vertically or horizontally. You don’t have to be super neat. It’s also best if you coat it twice to make sure the colors are bold and vibrant :)

image

Should look like this :

image

PS: Before moving on to the next step, please make sure it’s completely dry. (Dry for 15~20 minutes to be safe)

***

Step 3:

Fill in the remaining nails with your preferred ‘top coat/color’.

image

image

Tip: Use solid black or white for a more vibrant contrast,

***

Step 4:

image

When you’re 101% sure that your polish is dry, take your washi strips and apply as such:

image

image

Make sure you stick it on well but don’t press on it too much as the polish might come off when you peel it off later.

image

***

Step 5:

Fill it in using your preferred ‘top coat / color’. Make sure the colors beneath it doesn’t show — at least 2 coats/swipes of your top coat.

image

image

Wait for about 5~10 seconds before peeling the tape off.

***

Last step:

Add a clear coat to seal in the design.

image

You’re done! :) Super easy right?

I would love to see yours (if ever you decide to try this out) ~ tag me on Instagram if you do :) — @crissey8

Spain • Part 1 • March 2013 • Travel Photo Diary

27 notes Reblog Comments

Better late than never, so here’s Part 1 of my Spain Travel Photo Diary. Not sure if anyone’s interested since there was no shopping involved (Semana Santa so most of the shops were closed) — we were on 'tourist mode' the entire time.

With its utterly breathtaking sceneries, intricate infrastructures, interesting culture, and magnificent artworks; it’s is not hard to fall in love with Spain. Definitely a country worth visiting, IMO.

Also, it’s the homeland of Zara, Bershka, Mango, and Massimo Dutti (Which are very affordable there, fyi — 60% mark-up in the Philippines, yikes!) Just be make sure not to book your flight during Semana Santa!

Warning: Photo dump ahead!
