Yes, I am well aware that I’m living in a tropical country but I can’t help it~ I love wearing loose cozy sweaters :( If only I could wear them all year round I would! Thankfully, Coca-Cola headquarters is sweater friendly~ brr! :D

How was your weekend? Hope you had a splendid time like I did! :) I spent my Saturday with my 2 best boy buddies (who happen to look like Kpop stars lol) Keita and Jade. More on that in a separate entry!
Anyway, here’s what I wore last Saturday :D Decided to wear something comfy since I had store pull-out errands (for a secret project, shhh) ~!
Location : Le Bunny Bleu (Finally in the PH! I’ll blog about this in a separate entry)
Pa-sweet smile. My ponytail is missing in action. hmm.
Jamie Wedges from Gold Dot ~ They’re really comfortable because of the -just right- heel height and rubber sole. Now I want to get red and black pair too! ugh.
Obligatory Trissey mirror shot! :)
With Sachie-san, Yukie-san, Bea, and Tricia <3 CANMAKE is finally going to open very soon! Watch out for it! :)
Thanks so much to Tricia for my photos! :)
Hello, hello everyone! So sorry for the hiatus :D Truth is, I’ve been so busy reading books hehehe /no life. But I’m back now and I hope you’ve missed me as much as I’ve missed you *cue in dramatic music*.
Anyway, this is what I wore today:
How cute is this petal/scallop hem top I got from Choies.com ? The sleeves were too loose on me so I had to fold them :( This is how awesome it looks unfolded :
What I love most about this basic top (with a twist!) is that you can practically pair it with anything. A must-buy closet staple in my opinion. I’m so glad Choies.com offers free shipping /Yes! No minimum order. Also, my item/s arrived in just 3 weeks! I just had to pay P50 for tax/customs. Not bad at all!
Special thanks to my good friend Arvee for taking my photos! She got a new amazeballs Canon 60D so we tested it out before she leaves for vacation. What do you think about the quality of the photos? :) My Canon G1X is so ashamed LOL
In love with this pair from Comfit because it looks so classy plus it’s really comfortable!
Bulgogi for lunch. Discovered this little outdoor Korean restaurant (Fort Strip) called Seoul Express. Yum, yum! If you’re going to drop by, wear sheer/loose/summer clothes cause the heat/weather can get pretty nasty. Yikes!
My ‘not so amused face’ because they kept calling my hair bawang (garlic bun) Mean. But it does kinda look like garlic. Ouch.
My minion says hi! 1 more day till Despicable Me 2 ! I’m totes excited!!!
Oh, just me trying the very serious fashion blogger facial expression.
Failed so here’s a very happy smile! :D
Thanks to Lorraine for helping me with the photos despite being under the terrible heat — rainy season, where’d you go?.
Anyhoo, Lorraine and I spent the whole afternoon in Rockwell bonding over coffee and shopping (huhu). Catching up and doing nothing but enjoy each others company made me realize a few things.
(1) It’s okay not to have A LOT of friends. I’m so glad to have a few people in my life I can truly call my friends — quality over quantity.
(2) The most important things in life are for free. In this case, genuine friends who don’t see you for what you are but instead, for who you are. Friends who spend time with you because they want to and not because you can offer them something in return.
(3) The most important thing you can give others is your time. Unlike material things, time is something you cannot take back once you give it away — which makes it even more valuable. I feel so guilty about this. I’ve been a home buddy for almost my entire life. I don’t like socializing e.g going to parties, late night drinks, etc. I’ve made lame excuses not to meet my ‘friends’ in the past and that makes me feel terrible. I decided that from now on, it has got to end. I really appreciate my friends (you know who you are) for constantly inviting me to hang out despite my lameness and lack of eagerness. One should not be selfish with their time. I mean, you’re kind of stuck with yourself for the entire duration of your life. You should at least spend it with others that matter. Spending your time locked up all by yourself is never a good idea.

As I’ve said before, I’m not to keen on accessorizing; I’m not entirely sure why. Perhaps it’s because I feel a bit over dressed whenever I have some on. I don’t even wear earrings unless it’s a special occasion — I suck at being a girly-girl. Baby steps on the whole accessorizing thing. — Ack! I forgot to wear my watch… AGAIN.
I got this adorable skirt from my friend Stephanie’s shop — TopPicks Couture. They sell fashionable items at a very reasonable price. Check out their page when you have the time :)
As much as I despise the summer heat, I couldn’t resist wearing my very summery flats. Nowadays, I prefer wearing flats —I must be getting old. I can’t help but admire girls who wear south super high heels (lol) outdoors — as in 5-6” high . Flabbergasted is an understatement. I’d very much want to keep my ankles intact please. This is particularly why I believe (with a burning passion!) wedges/platforms are awesome. I definitely need more practice walking in heels/pumps. /topples over and dies.
Hope everyone had a splendid day with people that matter :)
